Traffic Operation

Your local Neighbourhood Policing Team have conducted a traffic operation Today on Mellor Street, Rochdale.

During the operation, a number of vehicles were stopped. Drivers and passengers were dealt with for not wearing seatbelts, and vehicles were also stopped for displaying illegal or poorly maintained number plates. One vehicle was stopped for routine checks and was found to have no valid insurance. As a result, the vehicle was seized under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act.
